GIZ (Deutsche Gesellschaft f\u00fcr Internationale Zusammenarbeit) and Praeparatio e.V. have initiated a joint training program for Ukrainian specialists in the field of orthopaedic footwear technology in 2025.<\/p>

The training took place at the Unbroken Center in Lviv - one of Ukraine's leading rehabilitation centers, which helps patients regain mobility and independence after injuries.<\/p>

This project impressively demonstrated the value of combining traditional craftsmanship with digital modeling technologies. The hybrid approach increases precision, individualization and comfort - and forms the basis for a new generation of modern orthopaedic technicians.<\/p>

The knowledge gained is to be incorporated into the KNUTD curricula in order to ensure this sustainable transfer of knowledge in the long term.<\/p>
